Impressive, especially for sewing.
I am really impressed with this little iron. I do upholstery and custom sewing, and I got this for my work area. I use it with an ironing pad that I also got on Amazon. I use an old computer armiour (no idea how to spell that) with a flip out desktop. The smaller size saves alot more space than I thought it would. It's a very convenient setup for sewing. When I need to press a hem or press open a seam or whatever, I just unfold the pad and turn the iron on right there. It heats up fast and is so much more convenient than hauling out a full size iron and waiting for it to heat up.The iron itself feels pretty substantial for a portable model. It's lightweight enough to not cost you extra to put it in a suitcase on a plane, but it's heavy enough to get the job done.I like that it's one piece instead of having some kind of flimsy folding handle or something. It has a dial with several different temperature settings, and they seem pretty accurate. It gets hot quickly. After turning it on, it's ready to fuse bonding in less than a minute. (That needs alot of heat.)This may seem minor, but it stands up on its own well. Alot of irons tip forward easily or require me to flip the cord all around to get it out of the way so it will stand up. This one is easy to just set back down with no worries, and it's stable. It doesn't fall even if I bump it while working in a cramped space.I have pretty large hands for a woman, and it does seem a little small for my hands. It's okay and would probably be good for most women, but it would be nice to be able to get a better grip on it. The channels where my fingers are supposed to go when I grip it just aren't deep enough. I also find the small dial to be a bit difficult. I usually only use it on high so it's not a big deal, but the small dial would be a little hard for me to control to get to a specific setting. I really don't really consider those negatives because small size is just a function of portable size.I only use it dry, so I can't comment that on the steam function. All in all, it's almost perfect as a dedicated sewing/crafting iron, and I imagine based on my experience with it, that it would be great for travel or even as the only iron for someone who doesn't have a frequent need or alot of space for an iron (like college kids in dorms). It's a good product, and I'm surprisingly pleased with my purchase.

Great little iron
Great iron. I had many doubts about buying it because of some mixed reviews, but this iron is awesome!!It is really small and comfortable to take on trips, but it is really powerful. It heats up super fast, it doesn't leak water, and it works perfectly. It's much better than our big, everyday iron, to the point that sometimes we use this little one instead of the big one when we are at home.I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a travel iron to take with you.

Compact, but leaks.
The size of this iron is perfect for small sewing projects which is what I bought it for. As mentioned in other reviews, the water reservoir doesn't fully shut and it leaks drops of water. The steam function works ok. There are moments when the water leaks out of the iron plate and doesn't steam. Overall, it's a decent iron for a quick pressing. I would not rely on this when traveling or for ironing anything larger than a small shirt.

Great iron/No travel bag
I bought this to replace a small iron (that was recalled) to use for sewing and craft projects. I also got one as a gift for my daughter. The first thing to note is the description is untrue. Neither iron came with a travel bag as stated. I hate when item descriptions are blatantly misleading as sometimes that could be the thing that made you choose one product over another. That said, I have been using it to press tiny seams in quilt pieces open and it is so much easier and works so much better than my expensive quilting iron! It gets hot quickly and streams well. I can now say I am VERY happy with this Purchase and will be getting much more use out of it than I ever expected to. I found a case on Amazon that works well, too.

Cute Little Trot-Steamer
Great travel iron which size about the palm of our hands. It produces good amount of steams. I’ve just use it twice, hope that it will last. Yesterday it made water leak when I realize that I had overfilled the water tank. It is well design, shaped like a yacht - but maybe not super robust. This is what I’m looking for but maybe not for those the one that’s like a super neat one. The force steam button works really well and it shortened my ironing time at least fifty percent so I could say this one very efficient.
