Have been using this cologne since it came out in 1986. Until then I never wore scent because it seemed like a waste of money.Goldsmiths Dept. Store in Memphis TN sent a sample by mail. I dabbed some on and since then people have been complementing me how wonderful I smell. I am now 69….

I used to wear Privilege many years ago in the '80s or early '90s; since I have asthma and allergies, I am limited to wearing few fragrances that don't make me ill. I am certain that it is a nice fragrance, but I no longer am able to tolerate it; thus, I gave it to a friend as a Christmas present.

This is very pretty. It was around in the late 80s early 90s, and I remember asking a coworker what she was wearing; I thought it smelled beautiful. Smells intense at first, but after dry down, the fragrance is lovely. Great price considering what you'd pay for a Givenchy or Thierry Mugler.....

Exactly as I remember it in the late 1980's. I used to be able to purchase this fragrance at a local apothecary in Boston when it was discontinued. That store ended up closing in the mid-2000's after 45 years in business. I couldn't find this anywhere else so I forgot about it. On a whim, I looked it up online, and here it is on Amazon. The scent is exactly the same as it was. I love this perfume. It goes on strong initially, but after half an hour it fades and remains subtle for hours. I get a lot of "you smell really good" compliments. Very happy with this.
