10 Piece Bug Kit (Pink)

I got this for my nieces, but kept "borrowing" it. The viewing scissors quickly became the favorite for catching spiders and safely moving them outside. This was ideal for my nieces because while all are interested in the bugs, some are more squeamish than others. Being able to see them without touching them was a bigger deal than I thought. The magnifying viewers were used on coins and rocks more than the grasshoppers, I didn't see that coming.This got the girls outside, that was all I wanted. That it helped with their squeamishness about insects was very much a bonus. Also, the girls went after weird rocks and plants. Nothing is safe from the magnifying viewer!

My 9 year old granddaughter picked this out because it “ came with all the other cool stuff” Its a great imagination/ discovery tool and fun to use.

Overall I thought this was a pretty good set. The quality was pretty good as nothing has broke yet. The net is nice because it’s made of metal and extends and retracts so we can easily store it away. My 3 year old will try to catch grasshoppers forever mostly just using the net, tweezers, and container. The magnifying container is great for seeing the bug close up or the bottom of it.

My little one is obsessed with puppies and bugs...and we figured a bug was easier to maintain. So we found this fun little bug kit. It allows her to trap and see the bugs up close. She loved it so much, the first day she carried around the little bug trapper like a little purse. She also especially loved the magnifying glass so she could see the bugs up close. Whenever we go on family walks in nature it is fun to bring the items along as well so we can catch and find a variety of bugs. Fun little kit for the family!

Flimsy plastic but doable for my grandson. Very disappointing that the magnifying glass was VERY scratched up in the individual package before I even opened it. That was the main thing I wanted. 😭

My little girl loves these. We've had hours of outdoor fun with them and she's almost 3. Now she does break pieces, but these break well (which doesn't sound like a plus, but it is). There are things that you break and then throw away and there are things that you break and then they snap right back into place. This snap right back in and work just as if they were brand new. That's valuable.

My grandson really likes collecting bugs with this set! Very complete and well-made.

Loved this bug exploration set from Unplugged Explorers. My 5 and 3 year olds got so excited when they saw it, immediately begged to open and then spent an hour outside looking for bugs together. The retractable net is super helpful for catching butterflies or bugs in places they could t reach. They loved the ultimate bug viewer - the best part of the set by far. Let them get a good look while not being nervous the bug would escape.
