Still working great after 6 months

I've been using this for 6 months now and decided to do a quick review. There haven't been any issues. I like the changing light feature to show if too much pressure or not enough is being applied. It's very easy to clean and the magnetic charging base works very well. I've used the app a few times and it works well but, in all honesty, I think it's more of a novelty that the user will eventually find unnecessary and stop using. It took some getting used to using an electric brush for the first time, but my teeth feel really slick and smooth afterwards so I'm pretty sure it's working better than a manual brush. The only thing I don't like is the pulsing it does after every 30 seconds to let you know how much time has elapsed; I'd prefer a different color light that it turns instead of the unnerving pulsing. It makes it feel like the motor is bogging down or something. The noise level of the brush is fine. The replaceable brush head lasts a long time although I think replacing it every 3 months is recommended in the manual. I like the shape of the brush head because it's the perfect size to 'cup' each tooth in order to quickly clean all of it at the same time. I trust the Oral-B brand as well.

Real replacements, not counterfeit

If you are looking for an exact replacement of the original brush, this is that product. It performs like the original because it is the same and not some cheap copy or fake. These are the real deal and if you’re looking for the real deal, I would highly recommend this.

My teeth look and feel much cleaner now.

Great quality toothbrush! My teeth look and feel much cleaner now. It can be charged about once a week, so it's easy to take it on a trip without the charger. I am very pleased this toothbrush.

Best toothbrush I've ever used

Funny to think that years ago we wouldn't have dreamed of having a computer built right into our toothbrush. I't just some bristles on the end of a plastic handle, right?I'd say it's hard to justify the price for this toothbrush, but to be honest I can't. To me it's worth every penny. The last visit to the dentist had the hygienist telling me that my gums looked better than the previous visit; that's enough to convince me that the extra tech that has gone into the iO 7 was worth the extra I had to pay to get it.It's quieter than the old Oral B Pro that I had, and leaves my teeth feeling a LOT cleaner. The brushing action has the familiar oscillation but also incorporates micro vibrations, which help remove anything that shouldn't be on the surface of your teeth. The accompanying app. (which you download onto the phone) helps encourage good brushing habits, and maps out your teeth into 6 different 'zones' monitoring the time spent on each, as well as brushing your tongue, rinsing, flossing, etc. I used the for the first few days, but sometimes you just want to brush your teeth and get it over with, ya know? The app. also awards you with medals for different behaviours, and I can see how having a simple reward system like that can also encourage good dental hygiene. The charging stand has been redesigned, and the 'peg' from the Pro charging stand has been removed, and a strong magnet built in to hold the brush upright and in place. This is a huge improvement, and results in a much cleaner charging stand (if you've used the Pro for any length of time you'll know what I mean!).The replacement heads aren't the cheapest, but replacing one every three months is not the end of the world for a healthy smile.I consider my money well spent.

Great Toothbrush, but Major Design Flaws

The toothbrush worked well. The quality of brush and variety of settings are nice and the circular motion works better than other formats of electric toothbrush. The design is also sleek. It has two stars for one really inconvenient reason: the power system. It stopped charging properly barely 2-3 months of using it. It turned off completely for a long time, came back on, but now doesn't work properly even if the screen indicates "100%" battery level. Sometimes it says 10% or even 0% battery and it works for hours... I will charge it for 30m, 1 hour, 4h, what ever hour, and it will still turn off and say "no battery." At times, I will not charge it for a 4d-1w and it will magically have a charge again... their toothbrush head and contact point design traps too much moisture and bacteria begins to grow on the toothbrush as well. (Mark Twain's Review is really accurate of the experience!!) My partner has a Philips toothbrush. She always laughs at me as we are brushing our teeth. I am brushing mine manual as she is brushing hers automatically... I don't recommend IO anymore, unless they fix these little things.
