Q: Can it hold fine process tea leaves?

Most processed tea leaves will do just fine, but given the lattice nature of the silicon, smaller sediment or fine ground pieces will come out from the bag during steeping. It will not behave like a tea bag or silk, but I find that it works the same as many of my previous metal infusers. In fact, I prefer these to my metal infusers.

No not at all, it serve well with the chopped tea.

Q: How many ounces or teaspoons will they hold? how big are the holes in fractions of an inch? how long b4 the silicone melts?

These questions should be directed to the manufacturer since I would have no idea how long b4 the silicone melts. Do you really make a cup of tea that hot? These are designed for making a normal, every day cup of tea. They are the size of a tea bag and the holes are too small for me to take the time to measure them. It should suffice that there are plenty of holes to circulate the tea as it brews in the cup of pot. The main purpose of the container is so you can add loose tea, keep it contained so it does not drift into the cup, and contain the tea for easy disposal. It's not an exact science. You use as much tea as you need to make a tasty cup of tea. So simple. How much tea is in a tea bag -- that's how much tea the container holds.

Q: Will these hold 1 tablespoon?

Less than that. One tablespoon is too much. You want your tea to be able to move around inside. Hope this helps.

I actually took the tabs off and use them in my cold water thermos for lemons and limes. They work great and easy to clean

Tea Time Pinky

I love to have loose tea in the evening. These silicone tea bags are easy to fill and just as easy to clean out after use. They work great. Might even try them with ground coffee but I am sure they will leak grounds.After using various other types these are the best so far. I recommend hand washing/rinse so you don't loose the cap.
