Great value for the price.
I was pleasantly surprised by this item. It stained beautifully and the quality of the carving was excellent, especially for the price. I used them to cover blinder holes that had been left on 100 year old window frames. They covered the mess great and look like they were part of the original antique window. I am very happy with my purchase.

VERY SPLINTERED
The design of these onlays is very pretty but upon arrival they were extremely splintered and requires lots of detail sanding to take away the roughness. They are made of pressed wood and we’re not easy to smooth the layers and with doing that you lose some of the sharp detail/design. Even with sanding and painting them they still had a very rough surface in the petals. Might try to do a thin layer of wood filler on a little paintbrush to fill it and paint it again.
