Lifesaver for Formula-Feeding Parents
I have a 7-month-old who is exclusively formula-fed, and the Nuby RapidCool has honestly been a game-changer for us. Anyone who formula feeds knows the struggle of trying to get the bottle to the perfect temperature—especially when your baby is screaming at 3 a.m. This gadget takes all the stress out of that! It’s super easy to use: I just pour in the freshly boiled water, add the formula, shake, and wait a couple of minutes. The built-in temperature indicator lets me know exactly when it’s safe to feed—no more guessing, no more cooling bottles under cold taps, and no more waiting around while my baby gets increasingly hangry.I also love how portable it is. We’ve taken it out on errands and even on a weekend trip, and it’s made bottle-feeding on the go so much easier. No need to find a café to ask for warm water or pack flasks anymore.Highly recommend for any formula-feeding parents—especially if, like us, you have a baby who isn’t a fan of waiting around for food. Worth every penny!

Impressive stuff
I still can’t figure out what voodoo this uses b it apparently it’s patented technology that absorbs all the heat. The green /amber light is a bit of a hit and miss - for example I’m hesitant to add the powder straight to the cooler incase it cools the water down below 70’ so I mix the powder in the feeding bottle first then pour mix into rapid c to cool. I think the amber light only shows if the liquid is over 90’ anything less it’ll just flash green. So what I do is add the hot milk turn the cooler upside down, flip it up and down a few seconds until I get the feeling that it’s done. You can feel the area around the lid warm up which tells me that the flask has absorbed the heat from liquid. And vah vah voom milk ready for feed. It brings the temp down to about body temp which is perfect to add things like colief - so the milk is ideal for baby by feeding time.I wouldn’t bother with the flask though the water doesn’t stay that warm - I tend to use my tommee tippee flask which retains heat much efficiently than this nuby- but the coolers are mind blowing. The coolers aren’t light weight though but they are very portable. I think every formula parent needs these in their life. Oh also I’m not keen on the plastic pots i thought they fit inside the cooler but they don’t - so no point buying those just stick to the pots with multiple dispensers.

making a feed is quicker and easier
Was recommended by a friend and I am glad she did. I am quite old school with boiling the kettle and cooling it down manually. This is product was not available when I had my first child. The difference in time is amazing and to have a screaming hungry baby in the background time is precious. As most will use the cooling flask with the ready made feed, I cool the hot water instead so i can use without having to deep wash whilst out and about. You can get around 2-3 feeds depending on amount of water needed. The sizes make them portable and fits perfectly in the outside pockets of my baby bag. The grey flask keeps the water hot for hours. The white cooling flask works well and has been a lifesaver at night feeds in my early stages of bed rest. Can be used for any time of day.Full price was slightly too much for me so waited for offers and managed to find one. I would say the outside could have been made so it wasn't so any accidental scratches were easily visible. That may have something to do the technology used to cool the milk/hotwater very quickly. I would highly recommend.

Useful piece of equipment
Love the Nuby. Only downfall is you have to sterilise after every use. That’s why we use it more as a flask/water cooler than mix it with formula. It’s like magic in your hands and it cools the water down in seconds. The only reason I dropped it a star, is because our light doesn’t seem to work that well when there’s not a lot of water in the flask. It stays green despite being boiling water.

Works almost TOO well
Absolutely fantastic product that cools the formula VERY quickly. When you pour the boiling water in you really have to get the formula powder in as soon as possible because it starts working right away. When it says it takes a couple of minutes to cool I think that is how long it takes to cool a full flask.I only need around 5fl oz at the moment so it works faster (about a minute) which is great but again, you have to make sure you get the powder in asap before it gets too cool.It also says it takes 3 hours to reset but I think that's if you sterilise it with steam. I have been sterilising it with cold water and Milton tablets which seems to "reset" it much faster (about half an hour) it has been working flawlessly.I still always check on my wrist that it has cooled the formula properly and so far it has so no complaints. My one gripe is that it's difficult to read the measurement lines as they are inside the bottle so I recommend filling it under a bright light like in the kitchen, using this in the dark would be very difficult if not impossible.I highly recommend it, it saves a ton of time and it's easy to use.
