I want to start by giving this 5 stars but with a caveat. It is a five star device as long as you understand that it's not a 5.1 surround sound system and have the appropriate expectations.The Roku Streambar SE combines the functionality of a compact soundbar with the added function of a Roku streaming device which is two great things to have in one package.First I'll talk about the device itself and some advantages. The device has a compact design that easily blends into any home entertainment setup. It doesnt take up much room below the TV like a 2 foot long sound bar would. It features a couple decent speakers that deliver clear and relatively immersive sound. Compared to just TV speakers, there is a big jump in audio quality of your movies, shows, and music. There is a noticeable amount of bass, mids, and voice clarity. But it's not going to be as good as a larger soundbar with a dedicated subwoofer.I love the Roku functionality and that it has 4K, HD, and HDR streaming capabilities versus some of the lower end Roku sticks. You get crisp and vibrant video playback. And all of the apps associated with a Roku device.Setting up the Streambar SE is straightforward with Roku's guided setup process. It integrates well with any modern TV, offering a user-friendly interface that allows quick access to a wide range of streaming channels and apps. It's much less complicated than a multi-piece soundbar.As a Roku device, the Streambar SE provides access to thousands of channels and streaming services, including popular platforms like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+. It supports wireless connectivity, allowing you to stream content directly from your smartphone or tablet to the TV screen. This is of course the case for any Roku device.The Price is extremely competitive at netween 80 and a 100 bucks. You get a lot of value for anyone looking for an easy upgrade their TV's sound quality while gaining access to a versatile streaming device. I keep stating this but having both in one device is very beneficial.Overall, The Roku Streambar SE is an ideal choice for anyone seeking to improve their TV's audio performance and streaming. Itbhas a very compact design, decent enough sound quality, and a great Roku interface. it's a great device that caters to someone looking for a simple upgrade, someone with limited space, or someone that just wants better sound and doesn't need theater surround sound, which is probably a large amount of people.A side note. This is a relatively new model. There is a larger model that slots above it if you want to increase the sound quality. You can also add a subwoofer to this for extra cost which would improve the bass response. It's nice to have the flexibility.

So far I’m enjoying my Roku Streambar SE. it was super easy to set up has tons of free channels and more importantly lots of apps! It is very functional and could be used on any tv. So very portable. It also has great sound for being such a small device. Perfect fit in my bedroom!

This little soundbar is a powerhouse! I bought the Roku Streambar SE to upgrade an older TV, and I’m super impressed. The sound is way better than the built-in speakers—dialogue is much clearer, and it has a surprising amount of bass for the size.The built-in Roku works just like their streaming sticks, so I didn’t need any extra devices or remotes. Setup took maybe 10 minutes, and I was up and watching in no time. It even works with Bluetooth, so I can play music from my phone too.Perfect for bedrooms or smaller living rooms. Great value for the price!

Great and affordable alternative as compared to a more expensive soundbar. This is especially useful if you watch streaming apps. It even silences especially loud commercials and ads. You meed to keep your old remote if you want to play your game system and have it use the same audio source. Other than that it is pretty user friendly.

First I want to make it clear, I NEVER leave feedback or reviews, but it's imperative to do so for this Roku soundbar. Just rec'd and setup today so will update if anything changes. OMG, the sound is 1000% better than older TV and/or LG soundbar, and it cost much less! The sound is amazing! T V is usually on a majority of the time on music channels, but I can guess regular dialog will also exhibit clarity. Set up was relatively easy...about 10 minutes, probably less for you since there were a couple extra steps involved because no HDMI ARC input on TV. Don't hesitate!!! Buy this! You won't be sorry. Only slight negative, remote seems chincy, as all Rokus are, but shouldn't stop consideration of a purchase.

Pleasantly surprised of how well this device performs. It gives very nice sound, much more bass and sound compared to a bigger and more expensive stream tv soundbar. The size makes it very portable for those on the go. It was compatible with my 4k HDR TV, providing crisp colors. Apps work great, in comparison to the apps from the older soundbar where the apps were skipping or not playing properly.Streaming quality is excellent.

This unit costs more that the lower priced offerings out there to be sure - BUT - it works with all Roku type TV's - Hisense, TCL, Roku and others. It also sets up easily. I should know - returned 2 speakers that oops their web info said they could but no they cannot. It is perfect on the nightstand 15 feet away from the TV so it is heard where you want it to be heard - not booming off the walls. It can boom - it is more than loud enough. It is exceptionally clear in sound. The remote works with my Dish remote so no issues there. I really like this unit.

I have always hated the fact that the newer tv sound is terrible compared to the tv's of old. They've improved dramatically with on screen sharpness & color but the sound is awful. I'm sure they have improved the sound within the last couple of years, but I needed something to improve what I already have. I don't remember the first sound bar name that I tried years ago, but it was to tinny sounding and the remote didn't work for the volume. And I wasn't going to invest in a sub woofer that would take up more space. Very frustrating!This time I bought the Roku sound bar and what a big difference! I've had a fire stick for many years now and it wasn't working as well as it use to no matter how many times I updated, so I thought getting a sound bar and a streaming service would help both of these situations out with one purchase. And it did. The sound is wonderful, the base added keeps it from sounding tinny. And my Netflix & Amazon Prime work well now. So I'm very happy with this purchase. Now we wait to see how long it lasts. ;)
