I’d never heard of the brand before, but I’m very pleased with the purchase. I’ll be buying more in the future to replace the rest of my plastic food storage containers.• Perfect for meal prep •I love that they’re boxy and easy to stack in the fridge. They keep a great seal. I use them for everything; chopped veggies, washed fruit, dinner leftovers, even for proofing sourdough with the sealing gasket removed (love that it’s removable!).• Durable •They were less rigid than I’d expected, but I’ve had zero issues with warping or cracking. I use them daily. They’re high quality and easy to wash. Highly recommend!

I received these containers today and, open opening the box, immediately knew the size listed on Amazon was wrong. Truthfully, I suspected it was wrong before i ordered them. The dimensions listed on Amazon are 10.74"L x 7.55"W x 5.86"H. The actual size (with lid on) is 10"L x 7"W x 3.25"H. As you can see, Amazon's (or Sistema's) dimensions are 1/2 inch short for the width, 3/4 of an inch short for the length, and I have no idea what they were smoking when they measured the height.Now, as I said before, I figured their measurements were ... generous. I can actually live with that, even though the width is a bit small to store my longest cigars, which I will be using these for. However, one of them looks like someone stepped on it, and so there's no way for it to be closed (airtight or not). I've enclosed a picture. Couldn't have happened while en route, as the box was fine, so it was definitely in this condition when packaged. I'm going to try and stretch it out somehow, but if that doesn't work I'll be returning them.

They re-designed this and it is a lot worse.I like the original design - stronger and easier to use.

I would not buy this product again. Buy the 2L instead. It's a heavier plastic and the 2 side clips to close the container are much more secure and sturdy vs this product. This product is a lighter weight plastic and has clips close on each of the four sides. It takes some manuvering to get the top on and closed securely. I would have thrown this product away but decided to keep it as disposable containers to send home leftovers with company.

These are air tight, however after about 6 open and close cycles one latch broke and the lid cracked so going in the trash.
