We checked out the local DIY store options first, but the reviews were poor, prices high and stocks low, so went for this online option instead.Quality seems good with well thought out connections and solid mountings.It is very very bright - maybe a bit too bright for our bedroom placement- so perhaps more of a lounge or kitchen fit?

This product came with the most straightforward connector I have ever seen - there's a block that has a cover where the wires go and ample cable cover for the existing wires.It looked an easy installation, and definitely no annoying buzz that people sometimes get - I've had light fixtures 3x the price not as good as this!It comes well packaged and is brighter than the pendant light it replaced.The light is pretty even to the eye along the bars too, you can only really notice it's made of smaller lights in the split second you switch it off.Overall a handsome light fitting that does the job whilst looking good and saving energy, what's not to like?

I too bought the Alani LED light from B&Q and had to return it due to the buzzing sound. This one is so much better (and cheaper). Looks amazing and is silent as you’d expect from a light fitting 😂. Easy to install. Recommend

Absolutely loved the light, fairly easy to install only issue I found is it doesn’t have a connection for the earth wire and that isn’t clearly explained in the instructions. But, apart from that I couldn’t fault the product at all. It’s really bright and now I’ll be changing all the light fittings in my house because it makes such a difference.

Very easy to install, quality manufacture. Well insulated electrical connector block with sleeve to run the cable in and a cover to clip over the termination block. Mounting very simple and the LED bars are very bring and the whole product is well made. I've installed it in my downstairs hall.

It took me a long time to pick a new light for my dining room. In the end we went for this one and I’m very happy. It is very bright which is what I wanted and I don’t think it would be suitable for a living room or somewhere you want to relax. Fingers crossed it lasts the stated lifespan

Update: Light died after 2.5 years. It flickered once/twice and then no longer worked. Because its LED strips, whole lot is no destined for the tip. Shame, just after the warranty expired.Caught sight of a light similar in a well known DIY store but had shocking reviews and was much more expensive. Decided to go for this as the reviews are overwhelmingly positive and the price was cheaper.Arrived quickly and well packaged. I decided to put on some nitrile gloves to prevent getting greasy finger marks on the metal. Installation was relatively straightforward. I say, "relatively" as the light only accepts N and L. Obviously you have wires to the switch which are frequently in another hole in a standard pendant and earths are common. I tucked the earth up near the bracket and stupidly inserted all the wires labelled live into the live section of the light.Didn't really think but the light was permanently on so removed, connected the two switch wires together and tucked them into the ceiling. All done.Light is warm white but *very* bright and looks fantastic. Probably too much for my small bedroom but its great. You can also move two of the lights to make a variety of patterns.Hopefully it'll last.
