This is my second razor , I've been using a medium agressive razor from pearl for couple of months and realized a mild razor might suite me better.Pearl makes really good razors themselves but I found almost all of them to be a bit aggressive.So who should opt for mild razors ?1) He who plans to shave on daily basis, or2) He who has sensitive skin, or3) He who has thin beard.Overall this razor is pretty good , heard alot of good things about it prior to my purchase and it stood well on those parameters.Pros:1) Good build quality for the price2) Included storage box is useful3) It stood well as a razor on my expectations.Cons:1) The edges of the blade stick out alot , that is a big drawback since it makes tightening the setup trickier.2) Only 1 blade comes in the box , could've provided more2) Could've been a bit heavier , although current weight seems to be sufficent as well.Verdict : If you are looking to get into single blade shaving , I would recommend you to opt for a medium aggressive razor instead.Medium aggressive razors are somewhat unforgiving and will help you learn how to use a razor + you'll figure out for yourself what kind of razor you need.---That being said , if you already familiar with single blade shaving , this is a great mild razor to consider. It's well priced and is certainly a value for money option .. 4 - 4.5 /5

Good razor. Though it's milder than expected. But overall a good buy! Gets plus points for looks, too!Update: I am knocking off another star, as this razor is way too mild. This will be suitable for many, but doesn't give me a really smooth shave, compared to razors like, say, the Parker 94R.Not a bad razor by any means, just not that great for 'my' requirement.Update 2: Raising the rating from 3 to 4 stars again, as it has proven itself superior to parker 94R for two reasons-a. Better build. The parker razors chrome plating peels off within few months. This razor has better platingb. I upgraded my pre shave- routine, and this provides shave quality comparable to parker 94R.It's safe to say, that my previous experience was due to lack of adequate preparation.

Earlier, I had bought its lower cost brother, Rs.299 one. This one (Rs.399) is bulkier/weight-wise, look-wise better & feels better quality too! One needs a little bulkier DE razor for sharper cutting, because the extra weight helps in swathing down the cut sharper.If you have to buy only one razor - especially for a beginner - just go for it: it is a mild razor, but quality made & finish, nice looks. I keep this one for regular use. The earlier bought Rs.299 one is now for travels.If you are in double minds about purchase, just Go for it. You won't regret it.Edit (Nov 2023): Been using it for 1 year now. It's proving to be a very good razor.

Best quality product

Pros:1. Good build quality.2. Heavy built, good weight.3. Very little overhang.Cons:1. Allignment is very difficult to get right, very time consuming for daily shaves.2. Everyone says it's mild but I find it medium, 4 on a scale of 10.3. Cost is high if compared with other similar razors4. Irritates face due to alignment issues, Gillette sterling or even some plastic safety razors are far better.Other notes and conclusions:1. I've been using the razor for couple of months2. I shave (mostly) everyday or every other day.3. I have tried veriety of blades including Wilkinson sword, Gillette parmasharp, Vertice one, Winner stainless, RK stainless, Laser ultra etc.4. Sharper blades did not felt good, post shave burn was much more than with other razors.5. The razor doesn't tug or pulls the skin.6. Though razor has plus and minus point I've stopped using it and shifted to Gillette sterling razor. Daily annoyance of aligning the blade and the loss of time it carries in an already time deprived morning routine has left me with no choice but to switch the razor.7. The experience may vary for you however most certainly alignment issues will remain regardless of performance of the razor.8. Given choice I'll go back couple of months and not buy this razor, for now it will sit in the cabinet being unused forever.

I'm beginner in safety razor. I'm always use cartridge, never see safety razor in my life. when I shave usually my skin itch, burn and sting by cartridge but now I use this safety razor I have no burn, itchy skin and no cuts (well I'm very careful for first time😁). yah it's take some time to prepare your skin and shave compare to cartridge but it's worth it. Thanks pristine. If you are beginner like me try this maybe you love this.
