Q: Do these contain melamine?

Made of wheat straw and plastic material. 100% BPA free. Sturdy and durable, will not break or chip like porcelain or ceramic.

Q: Why doesnt it say anywhere in description if its microwaveable? Can the seller answer question?

I have used them in the microwave several times with no problems. On the back of the plates it says they're microwave safe but it's VERY hard to read. You have to hold them just right to the light to see it.
